Welcome to the Tiffin Community YMCA! We are excited to have members and guests alike enjoy our site information about our facility, programs, and events.
The Tiffin Community YMCA is located South West corner of Tiffin Ohio, located adjacent to Hedges-Boyer Park. (Map/Directions)
The Tiffin community YMCA is providing three months free membership for people who have lost their jobs. For more information, call the Tiffin YMCA. Phone: (419) 447-8711
The Tiffin YMCA hopes to help displaced workers feel connected in tough times with a FREE three-month family membership.
Displaced FULL-TIME workers will be able to exercise, swim, and participate in other activities at the Tiffin YMCA for 3 months without charge. The YMCA is located on Summit Street near Hedges Boyer Park. Current YMCA members who have lost their jobs will be able to continue their memberships without charge for 3 months also.
People who are applying for the 3 months memberships will be asked where they worked, when they were laid off, and the name of a contact person at their employer.
The YMCA is not just a place to exercise; it is a place to connect with people and not feel isolated by the effects of the recession. Rather than stay at home YMCA members can network with other members and attend one of the sessions offered free by the Seneca County Onestop during the summer at the YMCA.
Our YMCA will continue to provide scholarships to those families that may not meet the requirements for this program, yet still qualify for YMCA financial assistance.
Monday – Friday 5:00 am until 9:00 pm
Saturday 7:00 am until 5:00pm
Sunday 1:00pm until 5:00 pm
Independence Day - Saturday July 4 - Closed
Labor Day - Monday, September 7 - Closed
When Tiffin City Schools close, we will have all programs with the exception of Mother Goose Preschool. All programs will run as long as it is safe to keep the YMCA open and the county has not issued a level 3.
Our severe weather policy states that the pool is cleared when either of the following occurs:
1. Cloud-to-ground lightning is observed and less than 30 seconds pass from seeing a flash and hearing thunder from the flash.
2. In-cloud lightning is occuring overhead.
The pool can be considered safe to re-occupy 20 minutes after the last lightning is seen or thunder is heard.
For up to date information please listen WTTF or call us at 419-447-8711 and follow voice prompts to extension 22, which will give current facility information.
